Salaries and Benefits

The National Science Centre of Poland has approved the project with a separate, strictly determined budget for the salaries of the research workers.

The budget shall be used according to the plan. Yet in the light of the binding law the method of counting the salary in Polish public sector depends on various individual factors. The information given below is thus only approximate.

Researchers working under the contract for the specific work

Salaries of researchers working under the contract for the specific work will depend on the level of their participation in the project. The results of their research should be prepared in the form of academic articles aimed at a publication in the first volume of the monographic series of the project. One person may be offered to write one or more papers. The required length of the article (5,000 words or more) will depend on the amount of the material and its importance for the history of litanic verse in the culture of European regions. For one article one can expect to be paid between 3,000 and 12,000 PLN (gross), depending on the length of the text. The number of articles, their length and a specific amount of salary will be determined by the leader of the project when the team is established. The money will be paid in 2015 when the goals mentioned in the contract are achieved. A separate amount of money is reserved for the costs of the stay of researchers at the academic workshop in the first half of 2015.

Full-time researchers

Employed researchers may expect that a monthly pay should oscillate around 3,500 PLN (gross). Moreover, for the time of the realisation of the project, full-time researchers will receive notebooks, as well as money for travels (in Poland and abroad) and for the purchase of necessary materials. A separate amount of money is reserved for the costs of the stay at the academic workshop in the first half of 2015, and (in the last year of the realisation of the project) for the publication of the books that will be written by the full-time researchers.
